Sunday Post: 26th June 2016

Hey, hey, hey! I’m back with another quick update post to let you know what’s been going on ๐Ÿ™‚ย The Sunday Post is a weekly meme created and hosted by Kimberly, over atย Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Go check out her blog if you get a minute!

Personal Update…

Not going to lie, this week hasn’t been myย favourite of the year so far. I mentioned at the end of a previous post that I really wasn’t happy about the prospects of the UK leaving the EU, but it’s happening so I’ll just have to deal with it.

In other news, I know I mentioned to you all last month that I had an interview with Apple. Well, it happened, and I didn’t get the job haha. It’s all good though, I’m sure I’ll get another job soon (I have my eyes peeled for my local Waterstones).

On a lighter note, it’s my birthday this week! I’m so freaking excited to finally be turning eighteen! I’ve also got quite a few things planned for the future which I’ll fill you in on at some point, so keep an eye out for that ๐Ÿ™‚

Unfortunately, I’ve been so freaking busy recently and as a result, reading has taken a bit of a hit. I wanted to finish this one ages ago and just haven’t had the chance! I promise you though, I will be finishing this book within the week and my review will be up soon! If you want to find out more about this book then visit the author’s website, she’s super lovely!

Twenty years ago, Victory adopted a human baby girl, who soon showed signs of magical ability.

Today, Victory is a city councilwoman, balancing the human and supernatural populations within Limani. Her daughter Toria is a warrior-mage, balancing life as an apprentice mercenary with college chemistry courses.

Tomorrow, the Roman Empire invades

  1. Happy almost birthday!

Sorry you didn’t get the job, but interviewing is such an important learning process. You will only get better and better.

I am hoping to get to AGOS soon too!
